today is the day fr ACT -5 fr all IMS students. Fr those who dont take take home tests. May be u will take up this classroom tests and do post ur scores. I will post as soon as i finish this one.

Hi all,
This was a 4 section paper with equal 40 questions in each section. This is how i Performed.

VA = 27/18/9 = 15.75
DI = 25/18/7 = 16.25
Quants = 22/20/2 = 19.50
RC = 22/11/11 = 8.25
Total = 96/67/29 = 59.75

Sure did brilliantly in quants. Shd have done better in DI. RC sucks fr me as always. Anyone has any methodology to follow fr RC.

My act-5 scores:
verbal: 27
RC: 12.25
Quant : 17
DI/LR :16.75
Total : 73
Must improve my accuracy in RC.
Went wrong with a couple of syllogisms in verbal ,which is criminal !

Through with all the act's. We are supposed to take up MCT's next.Not got the material as yet. Can anyone tell me what these mct's are?

I suppose MCT is supposed to be next level exams. As ACT is damn easy according to IMS standards ("tats wat IMS ppl say). They also said to have score of arnd 90 to expect a call frm IIM. sounds crazy isnt it. Tats why it is IMS

Need to increase my speed specially in the rc,took some time to read the 3rd passage.I am a ims classroom student.

attempted/wrong/correct
sec1- 17/2/15
sec2- 26/7/19
sec3- 18/3/15
sec4- 17/5/12

net score- 56.75

tot i did well coz i reached 50's for the first time...the guy who has got 73 seems to have done well...

lomi what do u think were the cutoffs for this papers?

and it sums up to 68...and pls somebody give me some tips to crack RC..I continue to screw my Rc section most of the time...bye

Hi People,

ACT 5 was the first ACT I gave. There is a hitch in all my papers and I realised it only too soon. My English generally gives me the boost and QA gives me the boot. This time the RC totally killed me and it just makes me think that you cant enter the exam room with a set strategy. I wasted a lot of time and marks in RC just because I thought it was my strength. Could have used it in QA or DI to better use.

Nevertheless, here are the scores
QA - 17/14/3/13
VA - 35/27/8/24.33
DI - 28/26/2/25.33
RC - 21/13/8/10.33

Net - 101/80/21/73.00

People tell me, gotta get 90+ in these tests. Dont know but maybe thats the score for Vikkuboss !!!
