How can they do that? Everyone gets tiny monitors while one gets a big one? Does it make for more scrolling on smaller monitors?

I hated the online test from TIME where I had to scroll from left to right at the end of each line in every DI question even on my widescreen monitor.

You have to scroll in some questions RC and DI question.
But remember life is not fair.

I mean't scroll left to right, not up down.

Horizontal scrolling is not required.

Satish Deodhar, convener of the CAT committee of the IIMs, said the main reason for the problem was “incompatibility of some software at centres with servers.” “This is the first time that CAT is being held online. Despite our efforts to keep a demo online, the students clicked wrong keys which in turn led to the problems.” Deodhar said.
- source Deccan Herald

I didn't hear them mention not to click the Big Red Button named Danger on the testing screen. Cmon this is an unreasonable response to the CAT debacle.

actually there were 3 ques for each RC.. the three questions were in the same page one below the other... and above the 3 ques, there was this sentence--> "there are 3 questions in this section.. make sure you attempt them all".. i guess that sentence was put only to ensure that people do not move over to the next page without looking at the other 2 ques in the same section! but i am sure it does not mean you need to compulsorily attempt all the questions!

bdw the whole conduct of the exam is bad! what are the iim guys doing... did they not proof-read the paper... first of all during registration itself many students could not enter their marks... and now during exam as well, there are many issues.. like 1) unnecessary quit button which even accidently pressed will prove to be a great mistake.. 2) the proctors are not well informed 3) the paper is way too easy compared to cat standards... 4) exam canceled in many centres... what is going on??? are the iim's kidding us???

Everyone will not have the same questions so not everyone will be able to answer your question.
