Vedic maths....gaining strength

i hve had a gooid look at the vedic maths book-there's only so much you can use.
besides, they current cat format (QA) hardly requires any calculation. the same goes for DI...

Ya i too agree with the fact that 1 minute can mean a lot in CAT.
So practising the methods given in the book titled "VEDIC MATHEMATICS" by Jagadguru Swami can prove to be quite useful.
The book by itself is not that costly,it is available for Rs.110.
So i think we can improve our calculation spped by using this book.
What do u say ppl?

but i guess...removing initial explanation to 80 odd pages...rest all sutras r bounchers...wat do u say partner...

i believe u dont need to know all these vedic maths perse.......i mean u have atleast 25-30 oncept based questions and if u can identify them u have a 99+..ofcourse there is no harm in doing all these....i tried but was never able able to implement wat i learnt at home in the actual test....mybe my pbm lies else where...
