Hello All...

I am new to Chennai (recently shifted)and am looking forward to write next years CAT . I would like to start preparation by joining a Gud Institute as I have little knowlege abt CAT(Most of it got through Internet). I dont know which institute to Join. Am living in Perungudi/Velachery so I have these options....

1) TIME insitute in Velachery
2) TIME in Adyar
3) IMS in Adyar
4) Byju Cat classes (heard taken in CEG)

5)Some other which is better than these n somewat nearby is also welcome

In Chennai, TIME is the best. IMS, I guess, is better in Delhi. But, as far as South India goes, TIME has always been better. and there's no difference in any of the TIME centres. By this I mean that the faculty will be rotating and shuffling around all the centres. It's not like a particular staff would just take care of one centre. TIME is preferred over IMS also because of the fact that it provides 18-20 mock cat exams, while IMS provides just 5-7.

You might get lured by air-conditioned classrooms that IMS has to offer, but I prefer TIME anytime over IMS. The study material speaks for itself.
