how was 1001......??i was not able to give this test....though booked my slot on 5th at 9:30 but Indias GOD superb innings did it all.....i forgot i had a test today....got screwed like india big time but neways how was the paper can someone throw some lite...on this one please

saw vipul n all gods of DI screwing the paper....great goin guys keep it up...u guys score like 9th 10th maths 100/100 c u guys soon with next mock scores of mine till then keep rocking

Test summary

I took the test this morning and i think it is a moderate-difficult one with a lot of emphasis on vocabulary. DI had a mix of doable sets and a few tough ones. QA was a mix of sitters and some really good questions. Here are my scores:

EU: 40(15C,5W)
QA: 19(9C,8W) Accuracy
DI: 26(10C,4W)
OA: 85(34C,17W)

Would have been a balanced score if not for QA and here is the proof:

DI-10(Wasted 15 minutes on that family set...Shud have skipped it after attempting for 5 mins..but did not let it go..the biggest mistake I did)

A serious crash course in DI and VA is required to sail me through the CAT....

PS-Can anyone post the answer for the family set??I want to know where I had gone wrong??

My take on AIMCAT:
its been a pretty long time , i stopped posting on AIMCAT threads(reasonretty bad mock scores read below 60%)
even my strong section VA started ditching me

approach for this aimcat:
solved CAT-2006 paper yesterday and scored 104 in 120 minutes

so was a bit confident and relaxed today while taking the test

since it is +3 -1 format thought to be more accurate then the no. of attempts.
started with QA as usual, was extra careful in solving and took my own sweet time 52 min here
went to di and solved fertilizers one and started with family set 8 min gone and no where near logic,when abt to leave some thing struck and solved(but i think i missed i marks here)
any how solved one question on AIMCATS

VA :time 35 min

i was neglecting this section for some time now, not giving its due share of time ,which directly affected my scores(RC's accuracy down from 75+ to sub 30 levels)
so today very calm while doing the RC's then solved sentence reprasing,quite confdent f answers
done in 27 min and last 8 min shifted to quant

Finally score card:

VA: 16A 12 c 32 27 min
QA 10A 5C 10 60 min ROI is pretty bad
DI 9A 6c 15 48 min

Learnings:
should not devote this much time to quant, could have solved a couple more questions in DI
verbal should not be done in hurry,which helped today

He is among those few guys who were getting above 140 in AIMCAT 1005 in the polls.Now you all know the truth about 1005,the topper got 120.I have nothing more to say about the credibility of this post.
