People was just analyzing the VA section
.I managed to get all wrong in the first RC.Now the answers given by time for the RC seem a bit ambiguous.
like for the first question the have given choice 4.But nowhere I can find it to be written that simplicity is perceived by religion to be inherent in wisdom.
they have mentioned in the last question that wisdom is a type of knowledge.Seems wrong to me if you read the first few lines of the RC.
similarly for a few others
Any enlightened soul who got the RC correct and can give the reasons that why he went for the answers given.
A man gotta do what a man gotta do
To beat the best you have to be better than the best.PERIOD.There is no second way about it.

My Approach was that, the removed part is a pyramid.
Now, Surface Area of the Pyramid = (1/2)*(Perimeter of Base)*(Slant Height)
= (1/2)*(3*6^(1/2))*(6) = = 54 * 2^(1/2)
But, the answer given has a different approach, which results in a different solution.
Could somebody please throw some light on this.

I think you forgot to add the area of the newly exposed triangle formed when you remove the pyramid....ie add the area of the base of the pyramid to the ans you are getting...

Hey brother facing the same problem here, same condition as yours and wats worse is that i am not even working. But there one thing that brings some hope, that is the aimcat difficulty level is really high and it can be demotivating sometimes. I suggest you take the Time online MC's and Crt's. I am sure you will definately do better in those tests. And please dont compare your scores to the people who post their scores, they just kill you.

Hey,
Thanks for your response.
Even when i add the area of the exposed triangle, i'm getting the incorrect answer.
According to the solutions given,
the area of the pyramid = area of the three triangles + area of base.
which is coming out to be 54 + 18*3^(1/2).
I'm unable to understand why the formula that i have applied is not giving me the correct Surface Area.

Hi puys,
The LRDI set on games(64 matches...) was that an easy set. Can someone please post the approach for that. please dont post the time sol. because it would be too lengthy to do the sum that way
