Can someone clear my doubt.......
We have to apply separately for PGDM and PGDM(IB).
So, for that do we have to make 2 separate DDs and apply separately ??

And for the process do we have to create 2 sets of username/password??

Plz clarify my doubt.

For anyone who is applying to the dear old pile of bricks;

Given the nature of the admission procedure which hands out credits for work-ex, please make sure that you get your documents attested. They will expect them to be so at the point of admission, much later in the procedure. But it never hurts to be safe. They can be quite rigid when it comes to rules You can get the documents attested from the nearest govt. hospital, police station or nationalised bank.

And yes, you have to apply separately for the PGDM and the PGDM IB courses. I will need to check with the admission committee about the need to set up two different log-in ids, though.

About the summer placement scenario this year, we have a roll-on placement window, which means that unlike most other colleges, we don't run through summer placements within a set period of three-four days. The process has started and students have been placed as well; a procedure that will run till everyone gets placed. This method allows us greater flexibility when it comes to placing the batch.

cheers!!!

Yes, you will need to apply to the PGDM course and then opt for HR in the second year.

As for the fees, they were Rs.1,35,000 for the tuition and books this year and about Rs.75,000 for the hostel for the year. Mess charges are extra, of course. They might be revised for the next academic year.

cheers!!!

hello seniors, i just saw the placement PDF on KJ SOMAYIA's website,it mentions Mc KINSEY,HSBC,MERILL LYNCH,Deutsche Bank AND COCA COLA as their recruiters,with all due respect i want to know do these companies really come to the campus every year ? and do they offer the same profiles as they do in other top colleges of India ?

Re: [2010-12]Queries for SIMSR aka K.J. Somaiya - 17-11-2009, 09:49 PM

I guess you are talking about this list
Welcome to SIMSR
More or less all of these companies(including Mckinsey Knowledge Center, Coca Cola, Citigroup etc) have been regular recruiters at SIMSR. However, during last years financial downturn some of these companies did not turn up during the recruitment season. This year when things are looking up again, we are expecting new as well as old recruiters to visit our campus again for both summer as well as executive recruitments.

Cheers!
