the PGDM nd PGDM-IB are residential courses. hostel is compulsary.

i am a bit worried abt the placement what is the status of present final year.. and do cmpnys come for summers too... if yes can u plz throw some light on the present status.... means hw many cmpnys and the no of student placed till date....

the placement season fr batch 2008-10 ll start this december. the response from the companies has been much better than what it was last year. even with bad economic conditions last year simsr managed decent placements. so this year is definitely gonna be better.
A lot of companies have assured to turn up for the summers and it is also picking up with process already started for a few.December will be the season fr both.

hello friends....

i am a work ex person currently working in INFOSYS...
i have given my payment by credit card.....

the problem is that they are demanding work ex certificate along with latest salary slip and that too ATTESTED.... i have the photocopy of my latest salary slip and can give my joining letter as my work ex proof.... BUT FROM WHERE THE HELL CAN I GET IT ATTESTED FROM.... the query to all of u somaiya guys is "CAN I SUBMIT THESE DOCUMENTS WITHOUT ATTESTATION AND CLAIM MY WORK EX??"

CAT 07: 91.18 %ile
CAT 08: disaster(was sick)
SNAP 08: 64
XAT 09: 86.58 %ILE..(wasnt expecting)

hey as of wat i know there is no separate cut offs in pgdm course of simsr. though it is there for mms. i ll confirm frm admin nd tell u.

Hi SIMSR Junta and Puys
Do we need to attach all of the Copies mentioned for Work -ex or any one of them will do?
and moreover why is attestation reqd?? self attestation or from gazetted officer?

The online method says
"Please take a printout of the filled form with all details, paste a passport size photograph at the space provided and attach the following :
• Photocopies of the Work Experience Certificates & latest pay slip (to claim credits for work experience), if any.
Copy of Appointment Letter from the present company.
Copy of the latest pay slip from the present company.
Original will have to be produced at the time of GD/PI , without which no credit will be awarded.
Work Experience Certificate/s from the previous employers should be submitted.
