Well, it doesn't matter whether n(3) and so on are even or odd.
As,
n(2) is even.
All the terms after n(1)n(2) will contain n(2).
Now, Even number multiplied by any number gives an even number.
Thus, all the remaining terms will be even.
Which will show that only n(1) is odd.
Thus, S is odd.
