Well just words and meanings are not enuf....if u also post a usage for the word it will b helpful...best way to learn words is to keep looking at them till they sound familiar to u...that is when u start using them in conversations nad get a command over them.I saw a few words which I found abstruse in context of CAT.

Abstruse : Incomprehensible to one of common understanding or knowledge.

Usage: The professor's lectures were so abstruse that students tended to avoid them.

Synonyms: Recondite,Deep.
