my take on the cutoffs (it is a capital mistake to theorize without facts/statistics)
but sheer gut feeling says -

QA : 26-30
DI : 20-24
EU : 24-28

OA - 92-96 for 97.5%ile (this paper was tougher than CAT-08 , that's for sure)

Did not manage the time properly but nevertheless recovered from the 1008 performace

DI 10R 2W 38 marks (Atlast Cleared the DI cutoff )

Just attempted AimCAT 1006 :-

DI,was okay :- 8r 3w = 29
QA,was also okay, I was half slept.Read Airthmetic Progrssion as Geometric, Counting mistake etc. 9R 3W = 33
VA, oh ahhh.... For one RC spent 18 min. . After that could not attempt second one. Also, PJ will be definately wrong. I was not getting anything. 4R 6W = 10
Total 72.

Bhai log, did u people also felt the same or its me only who struggled with VA today? I guess I need to start with word-meanings, otherwise on tough RC day, I am gone.

P.S -> took a di set as a challenge, n thought "oh man, its just an aimcat n I can take some risk." Some risk streched to over an hour and still I couldn't solve a seemingly simple problem, but then the lesson is learned ..........

@all: dont you think the polls are a bit skewed??
I mean ranges till 131-140 is just too high...
Should ve ideally started at <50 and stopped at >130.
I feel there's going to be a whole bunch of scores less than 70!!!obviously there will 10 odd ppl from PG who will be scoring the 140s and 150s...but there will be lots more who will be scoring 60-70 and 50-60 scores...

Ahh! finally a better performance in DI but at the expense of EU which is nevertheless my weakest section :( but had been clearing cut-offs in the last few tests

EU-22(8C10W)...didn't see this coming
DI-37(10C3W)...elated after I failed to clear cut-offs in 1008(destined to) and 1009
QA-40(11c4w)...poor accuracy from my side
OA-99(29C17W)

Hi All,

Gave the AIMCAT today and got the following score...

VA - 15 (5c 5W)
DI - 22 (6C 2W)
QA - 34 (9C 2W)

OA - 71

Found the VA section quite tough specially the PJs and the RCs...
spent lot of time in RCs but i found them really tough....
what do u think puys?
