hey Gaurav, as far as getting admission is concerned, i have written the various parameters involved in it and if you would have a closer look, gd and pi constitutes 50% of the final score. so as far as admission is concerned, it will depend on your whole profile and your performance in gdpi. so i can't say will a particular candidate get in on a particular set of nos., your own performance counts as well!!!!! So start preparing!!!
Next, as far as the placements are concerned, they are improving for sure and this time, it'll be better! However, i can't guarantee any package that you'll might get,2 and half years from now.
A piece of advice: Stop focusing on trivial things, concentrate on getting through a decent college. If you take care of the present, the future will take care of itself.

Well, the ROI is directly correlated to placements in a particular college, and I agree that last year, the placements were not upto the standards of BIMTECH, but then almost every B-school went through the same phase last year, so Bimtech should not be judged too soon!!!! Apart from this, the fees is, no doubt, slightly high and it would easily cost you around 10 lakhs, but then the fees is commensurate with the kind of facilities that are provided in the hostel and the college. Plus, to tell you very honestly, right now you should keep all your options open and fill as many good colleges as possible. if you get a good score and you are able to convert a better B-school which is economical and better, good for you, but what if it doesnt turn out that way, in that case as a rational student not willing to drop another year, you will take admission in any college you get through, just like i did. So, right now, don't think about ROI and stuff and concentrate on your entrances, once you are through with them and you have options consider these technicalities then. For now, just relax, and keep your options open!!!!!

ROI , RANKINGS , PLACEMENTS , FACULTIES

To all these questions all we can say is that we joined BIMTECH with the belief that it can add value to our credentials, and i dont see a reason as to why the same cant be applied to the 2010 - 2012 batch. Our discussions would focus on what BIMTECH can provide you, than what "one thinks that it CANT".

Having said that, its kind of too early for all these discussions. Concentrate on cracking your papers and all the best for doing that.

just had a query regarding form filling..do we have to use a black pen to write in the boxes or pencil .It has'nt been mentioned anywhere .The only thing told is to use a pencil to darken the circles and pen to write in the name and address space below

Hi Govinda,

I'm interested to apply to BIMTECH through NRI category.

Since I'm away from India I can apply through Online/download the form.

But bothese these options are not available now.

Could you please ask the admission team when this will get right as Dec 10th is the last date to apply ?
