Hi Manish. Was the director of NIRMA serious when he said that students with more that 3 years may not add value. If that is the case then NIRMA should mention this in their Advertisement, Prospectus and Application Form, so that aspirants with more than 3 years of exp take caution while purchasing form of NIRMA. I have 6 yrs of exp and already purchased the form. With so many forms out one take so much time to decide and allocate money to apply at right institute. I think I have wasted money in doing so.

The statement has been probably misquoted again at the PG article. Our director has not said that we have upper limit of 3 years of work ex. He will be giving us his clarified statement tomorrow and we will post the same here. Our media comm. will speak with the PG coordinator, so don't panic.
There are lot of students with more than 3 years of work ex and as high as 5 years in current batches of IMNU. We will post the latest on this issue soon.

Thanks manish. I really panicked after reading the article. Also PG guys has put it in bold headlines that it upper limit is 3 years. hope they modify it ASAP.

i wanna apply 4 IMNU....but my acads is nt dat gud...X-81%, XII-75% n B.Com-60%, nt having work ex too...shud i go 4 IMNU?
well i did a bit well in sep MAT wid 97%ile n hope 2 see a better score in CAT too..

Your acads remind me of my acads which are pretty much same as yours. But here I am in IMNU. So it is very much possible to get into IMNU with our kind of acads. At the end of the day everything boils down to CAT score and your performance GD-PI. Prepare well for those and acads can't be an obstacle.

I'm applying to NIRMA under NRI category.
Adcom told I can apply with valid GMAT score.
So in the application form, can I provide my GMAT ID instead of CAT registration no. ?
I mailed to adcom regarding the same for confirmation, but no reply.
Could you guys please clarify on the same ?

Can sumone please tell me whether IMNU is good for specialization in Operations? As in the Operations related faculty and the Institutes willingness towards lesser no.of people opting for a particular specialization..

In past years not many people have opted for Operations as major specialization though there were people is past batches who had Operations as minors. The 2008-10 batch of IMNU have nearly 10 students with Operation as Majors. The faculty is good for operations, also many good visiting faculties are invited to the campus for specialized courses. The college allows a specialization as majors if minimum of 10 students are opting for it. The placements are planned in similar manner, more number of operation companies are targeted due to diversified requirement.
