I will be appearing for my cat and other management exam this year as a fresher, pleaseeeee can any one tell me the expected cut off for NIBM Pune this yr, i know its not possible to tell the cut offs, but please any close estimate will be of great help realy, i mean any range figure would really be of great help i mean then i would be eyeing for a pecentlie in that range, coz i really wanna pursure my carrer in banking and there is no other place better than NIBM for that so please an estimated cut off would be really really helpfull, and me being a fresher does that put me into a disadvantage in the process of getting a call from the college at the first place, and by gods grace if i get selected and get a call does me being a fresher put me into an disadvantage at the time of gd/pi also.
looking for an reply , thanks in advance

Dear,
You acads profile seems to be satisfactory as the NIBM standards, and to add on to that you already hv some specialization in Finance so that will only help to give you an edge in and post selection.
w.r.t you being a fresher - having a work ex definately gives you an edge but not having it is not a drawback.....the current batch ( 2009-11) have a good concoction of freshers, experinced and bankers. Thus its not a drawback by any defination to be a fresher.
The cut off ( as has already been indiciated) was somewhere near 80/82.....but that was the lower limit....target for above 85%ile for securing a call
And yes if you are really inclined towards banking sector.....nothing better then NIBM in India.
