Please use this thread to post your scores and discuss strategies on AIMCAT1008. Do not post questions though till the exam slots are done.

Pattern and marking scheme
Section-Question Nos/No. of questions/Marks per question/Negative marks
Verbal Ability 1-25 25 3 1
Quantitative Ability 26-45 20 3 1
Logic & Data Interpretation 46-65 20 3 1
Total - 65 - -
Mode and Format
- The total test duration is 135 Minutes. There are NO sectional time limits.
- The student can navigate to ANY question of his/her choice.
- The student can view only ONE question at a time.
- There are NO negative marks for unattempted questions.
Its a +3 -1 format again..

AIMCAT 1008 isin Available status in my home page from 1 AM yesterday nite. I think its available for all those who have booked the slot for today.. 
Am gonna take the test afternoon itself. (Though i have booked the evening slot) .

not only the marking but also the pattern were different this time....
my score are
va 11c 3w 30
quant 4c 12 
di 7c 8w 13
quant was scoring but i cud attemt only 4 questns. i think for most of you quant will b a cakewalk...
some sets in di were really time consuming...
for the first time i am happy wid my va score..need to work harder in quant though

Made a mockery of myself again in TIME mock...this time did blunders in di.......devotd some 30 min to cp/sp set and yet could not solve it........seems i trusted my lr skills more....and had to pay a heavy price.......
my scores though:
EU 18C 5W 49 marks (45 min)....barsega sawan jhoom jhoom ke....
QA 13C 2W 37 marks (40 min).....back to back gud scores in quants..
flop show
DI 4C 4W 8 marks.....(50 min)
single digit DI score for the first time this season!
oa 94 marks
will again miss cutoof of 1 section...is happening since 1012.....cannt help it.......
CAT 2005: QA 96.XX, DI 75.XX, EU 96.XX , OA 97.25 No calls
CAT2008: QA 98.09, DI 97.72, EU 88.38, OA 98.26 No calls
GMAT SEPT '08: 710/6.0
Calls: ISB-H (Verdict: Rejected)

Another Disastrous Mock -
VA - 19C 6W 51 Marks (45 mins)
QA - 4C 4W 8 Marks(50 mins)
DI - 2C 3W 3Marks(40 Mins)  Couldn't crack even a set. Wasted a lot of time.
OA - 25C 13W 62 Marks
The more I practice quants, the more my score plummets. Not sure wats wrong. Any suggestion Puys..?
Aways do sober what you say you'll do drunk. That will teach you to keep the Mouth SHUT.

somehow lost interest mid way and submitted half an hour early...

VA - 35 (15C 10W)
QA - 25 (9C 2W)
DI - 21 (8C 3W)
OA -80 (32C 15 W)
Any idea about my expected %ile.
BTW has the poll started, I didn't see one

DI - 16 [ 6C2W ]

don't know how I got 2 wrong in DI.I was quite sure of them (DS? they looked easy .Or were they?) and was banking on it.First time will not clear the Quant cutoff.Where am I heading to?
aimcat 1009 analysis says = cutoff in QA = 22-26.Well this paper was definitely tougher than 1009.Expecting cutoff around 18-20 .
VA was easier.DI didn't look tough.QA debacle made sure that I don't give more than 35 minutes to DI.But the section was definitely doable,but somehow my score doesn't reflect that.
You do 2 mistakes,and you are thrown down 7-8 percentile points .Well this +3 -1 format is pretty dangerous.
