Surprisingly, its da same phone number..n guess what, my centre is in delhi, both the original and the changed ones..but the phone number indicates Gurgaon STD code <weird!>

Prometric is clearly not up to the task here. And it was a mistake on IIM's part as well to an extent for giving away the responsibility to a bunch of apparent rag-tag group. Prometric is one of teh largest online test providers in the world but it certainly does not reflect in the way they have handled (or BUNGLED??) this thing.

My friend registered for a test center the first day itself and receieved the admit card as well. Only to get a mail a week later that her test center has been changed (thankfully in the same city, at least). Of course, no explanation or even an apology was provided. Attempts to call them on the "Support Number" or to mail them resulted in a big ZILCH.

IIMs should take note of it and plan out a better arrangement next year.

In my case ,the same story again.The telephone number is the same as the one i scheduled.Prometric on their own have done something and i received the mail stating"thanks for scheduling................etc."whereas i scheduled at a different venue for which i received the mail on the first day itself(i think sept 9)Even last week i tried to resend the card,just before closure of registration,the venue was the same.How come,all of a sudden,Prometric,on their own can change the venue,(not even an apology).
If this is the case,will they change the answers in test also on the D day on their own??
Now i am scared of the results of the CAT exam !!

I m not sure whether it the rigth place to ask..
I have forgotten my login username & password(both) for the pometric site.
Is there any way to retrieve or reset it..

I also received a mail from Prometric yesterday saying that my test site has been changed. I called up their help line today and they are saying that their was a technical fault in the labs of Fortune School(old site) and now they have rescheduled my application. I hope its not an isolated case but it must have happened with everyone at that center.

Yes,my case is also the same"Fortune"school.my centre was also the same and got changed to another (Asia Pacific)

please try n contact the customer care number given on the CAT site n connect to the representative n pose ur query there..they might be able to help..all d best..

yup same here..did they not check infrastructure before they put up the site as a test center??...mismanagement galore..first the non-editing drama n nw this..hope the paper does nt show up sm new eccentricity!

same here I registered on the first day itself just to get a nearby center now they have given me asia pacific.....which is about 1 hour drive from my house

I had fortune as my center and surprisingly they changed it to asia pacific !!!
