The problem is concentration that we can not sustain for full 2 hours. A point in case, my last mock where I attempted 54 in first hour and 27 in the next.
A break or 2 minute nap may help.

thank you bhars. i usually start with VA as this is my strongest and i can save a bit of time for the QA and DI. i dont want to do QA last as I'm worried that i wont make the cut-off!
i'll try your strategy this time around and if it works...all credit to you!
another strategy i had picked up from a pgite (neha i think)...give 30 min to each sec. and come back to the one's screwed up in; leave your good ones alone...somebody willing to try that one out for size....? He who controls the present, controls the past.

There are some questions which have ans in one line and one need not read thru the whole passage to answer them. Try to pick those kind of questions across RCs and answer them. Would appreciate your views on them.

Hi Friends
Let me intro myself.
Me, Snehit from pune, 4 yers workex in SCM , Exports etc.
Planning on taking CAT 2004.
My strenghts are VA, RC, DI and Quant in that order.
My problem
While practising at home the solutions for problems come to me. but under time pressure during the mocks my main area of concern is that even basic formulae escape me and i end up not attempting as many as i can, which is anyway a handful.
A solution i thought of was to read all 50 questions circle22 - 25 problems that you are confident of and then attempt them calmly and surely. It takes a trifle more time but i hope that i may clear the cuttofs at least.
If any of you guys good at QUANT have any better ideas they would be most welcome.
Thanks

This strategy is good but noty worth 20 min. also, DI probs are difficult to assess.
i use this for my QA otherwie i miss sitters. for VA, i dont. i do as many as i can from the beginning. in DI i try the graphs and tables first, DS and then LR.
to each his own. evolve your own strategy as you do more mocks! He who controls the present, controls the past.
