Hi

i made a mistake in the Part-A and Part-B form by writing my FIRST NAME follwed by my SURNAME....instead of the other way around as required.

Will this cause any problems in the future?

Puys m so dejected now! I must jump off from somewhere. First time in my life i made some silly(its actually too big) mistake while filling d form. Due to very hectic life and doing a lot of things at a time these days,i was tired at night so i left the 'Program applied for' (which is the most imp field) and thought to fill it next morning. But next day(being saturday and speedpost upto 12 PM) i juz checked the form and missed this field and just posted it in hurry!
I know many of u ll say that i don't deserve to do an mba if i can make such a blunder but really u neva know what can happen with u at very next moment!

If any of u puys have gone thru any such kinda mistake pls suggest me what to do! Though i ll mail them tomorrow and try to call also ... they haven't kept any helpline no. i guess. The last option ll be to throw my another 1600 bucks and prove what an idiot i m!

i dunno a solution for ur problem but have read few of ur posts just one thing--
tough times dont last,tough men do..
some1 plz tell me do we have to buy 3 forms for MDI??

no only one form will do.
you can choose the order of preference for various courses .

No, juz 1 form ll work. Its for all the 3 programs.

Sir,
The issue I had was with my date of birth, where I inadvertently darkened it as 0 0 for the month column. But the the person I contacted in the MDI Admissions office told me that if that was the only issue, then I could send across the form. However, I think CAT Regis number, as in ur case, is a completely different issue, which is the basis for further selection process.

Someone else in this thread had a similar problem but she was told that the mistake could be corrected and she should send the form anyway.







Thought I should bring this contradiction to light.
