Was your experience with the NGO a full time paid one? If not, you cannot include it in your Work Experience.

Your mail will be responded to. Please wait for a few more days. The Admissions Department handles a lot of queries and will take sometime before this information can be verified. Request you to just hold on till then!!!!!

yes it was.I have no doubt in including that one .only doubt is including my latest venture or not i.e. the social entrepreneurship one.

I have a doubt regarding fill or not to fill sp jain form...

My details are

Xth : 84 %
XIIth: 74%
Graduation: 70.1%

A pass out from NIFT, New Delhi with about 9 months of work experience
Quite Good Extra-Curricular Actvities record...
1. Hold the post of president of College club consecutively for 2 yrs..
2. Co-ordinator of annual fest in College...
3. Event Head at various college programmes..
4. Worked for various NGOs part time....
5. Carried out a 3 month workshop for personalilty development and grooming for blind students at National Association for Blind, mainly associated with this NGO for more than a yr...but it was not paid..volunteered at many other activities...

i dnt think i have a very good academic record...if i score 90%cle , then can i expect a call from SP jain...

CAT'07: 89 %cle
cat'08: 84 %cle
Tiss'07,08: Calls but no converts
NMAT 08:calls but no converts...

My score in test series is varying from 65%cle to 93%cle...but majorily around 85%cle....

I ma confused whther i should fill the form or not....

one thing more..i have done my Xth from ICSE board....should i fill best of five marks or total aggregate...till now everywhere i have been fillling total aggregate marks..

any suggestions ??

I have been working with an IT Company for the last 23 months. During my job tenure i had got an opportunity to work with the pre-sales team where i helped the company to bid a big chemical giant. Now as we need to authenticate our achievements in the profile, How do i authenticate it?
as the person under whom i had worked in this project has left the company and joined another company,
Will a letter of recommendation from the same person work under these circumstances even though he has left the company ?

another thing is that is a letter pad necessary for Letter of recommendation as in my company they dont give any letter pads and every thing is done via mail and soft copies

I am really in a fix

SP Jain looks at your entire profile rather than just your CAT/XAT scores. And your extra curriculars contributes in a large way to your overall profile. So I would say they impact your chances to a great extent.

For an engineer will the following count as extracurriculars
1) Good at playing guitar
2) Member of fine arts club
3) Good at making Stop Motion animation (hope that u know wht it is)
4) Poetry writing

Hope that taking part in inter institute events and managing a few will be counted as extracurriculars.

I have gone through the SP jain website for the placement details but couldn't find specialization specific details like highest salary offered and average salary offered in each of the respective specializations.
