its our duty to make aspirants like u aware of the latest happenings in our clg n abt the MBA course offered by IISWBM

so here goes the explanations

1) the exact last date is not mentioned in the advertisement.i'l let u know the exact deadline once our classes reopens after puja , ie on Oct 12...but you can consider Dec 7th as a deadline n proceed.
but my advice is that always keep 2 step away from the zero hour...

2)you have to fill seperate forms for MBA and MHRM ,as both are entirely different department with different HOD's

3) yes, u can c it in the notification. if u wanna apply for both, u hav 2 to submit the forms separately for each course

4)honestly , i dont knw the min cutoff's for MHRM last yr.. i 've few frnds in hostel with me havig CAT scores of arnd 65%ile n 70%ile.. but i'l confirm it n ask them to reply MHRM related q's.

5) no, we r not bound 2 use the min config laptops provided by the clg...

Thanks a lot for the reply Sir.I have already checked today morning in the THE TELEGRAPH newspaper of 23rd September,that the last date is 9th September,so that will be very helpful for me,as I will fill up the form after my Cat which is scheduled in 5th Dec.As i live in Kolkata only that will not be a problem.Only thing Sir,after your clg reopens,if you cud convey me the MHRM cut-offs after knowing it from your friends then it will be very helpful for me.And lastly,the seats in MBA are 120 rite???

placements last year was stable,considering the economy...
no high fly wonders happened, as were the case with every other premier bschools. but our time-built alumni network paved way for healthy placements for the 09 batch.

for the 2007-09 batch highest pay package was arnd or nearly 8.5 lpa -recruited by Citibank
with a slight variation in the 'Mode salary' towards the lower side

our clg will reopen on Oct 12th , so i'l give u the apt stats after getting consensus from our Placement in Charge .

well, the cut-off for MHRM is difficult to predict like that, since it jumps up & down almost every year...but one thing i can say, anything above 70%ile would be a safe bet for fetching a GD/PI call, for MHRM that is...for MBA the cut-offs would obviously be much much higher...hope this helps!!!

is mhrm not considerd as mba or the placement is low , faculty is just so so ,or is it just a baby course there ,what are the future prospect after studing mhrm from iiswbm
