i request hari_87,ashu jain,silent assassin to help me in VA...its very urgent as time is running out...
my aimcat 1011 got messed up because of it

u dint mention ur attempts..but try and attempt as many as u can in VA...and try to get abt 60% or so accuracy...just read as much as u can..and try to comprehend whatever u read..and abt the Non RC..practice as much material as u get hold of .

i attempted all the questions as i am weak in va...got 14 wrong
the problem is my inconsistency...
can you please tell me the way to improve my grammar...its like sure shot that 2-3 questions comes from that section every year...

grammar can be done by following some good grammar books (no idea which ones though) ...and just general usage can help..read as much as u can..

I am almost getting same marks in all the sections for past two sets and all are a little below expected cutoff :(.
My scores:
QA
11A 8C, 3W == 29 gave 45 mins to quant. So thats bad
DI
10A 8C,2W == 30 gave 40 mins to DI. Not that good either
VA
18A 10C, 8W == 32 gave 60 mins. My VA is very bad. Considering that I would say thats not that bad. I think I should give 60 mins time to VA. That helps in improving the accuracy.
I should certainly try to improve speed in QA and DI coz those are my stronger areas. Any suggestions from previous year cat givers??

VA 41 (13/11) correct/wrong
QA 29 (8/3)
DI 24 (7/4)

OA= 94

Paper was quite doable. Could have easily scored more. Wasted about 20 mins combined in the bus set of DI and the LETTER set in QA where we had to find the values of the alphabets.

hey guys jus took aimcat 1011............
My score is
VA (20A 15C 5W) 55
QA ( 14A 13C 1W) 51
DI (15A 11C 4W) 40
OVERALL (49A 39C 10W)
I think the paper was of decent difficulty level but some portions were quite easy.........Notwithstanding my score DI was probably the easiest section among the three......neway i think cutoffs wll be in 30s for all the sections................tcre ppl and keep posting

moi score !!

VA :: 34 (11 C , 10 W ) pathetic score need to pull my socks up for this 1 . The Accuracy sucks
QA :: 41 ( 11C,3W ) found it ok ok types not very tough not very easy .Everything except that 3 Set of Q in which digits were to be find out could have been attempted

DI :: 32 ( 9C, 4W ) got stuck with the 1st set of Q of buses in DI for 6 - 7 minutes coudnt solve then decided to move ahead

OA :: 107 (31 C , 17W ) !!

An average score overall which could have been much better A Good VA would have yeilded better results
