Thanks a lot to everyone who worked so hard to make this concept a reality finally... It was really creating tension( though unnecessary) among puys about their place in SBT... A totally unimportant thing, to which I will come at a later point in this post.
Being the captain of SBT, I am expected to write a very good post which will motivate you all and which will boost your confidence in team and yourselves. However, nothing like that is going to happen here....I don't want to pretend anything here.
First of all, I am excusing myself of the formalities.
The SBT was formed due to some reason. It was to provide with the things which other teams were unable to provide. Plus, it was directed towards a completely different set of aspirants than in other teams. I respect all those teams, no doubt about that, but I beg to differ from them. I mean, I am not here just for posting my mock scores for next 3 months or so. Neither I want this place to become Quants thread which created a record by crossing 100 pages in its second edition, in a mere 5-6 days.
I hope SBT never turns into any of these.
What this place is going to provide the members ( and of course to those who are interested to follow it) is a helping hand which all of us miss a lot during our preparations.That extra push that can convert an 80+%iler into a 99 %iler...be it some conceptual help, or method related, or something which has been bothering you consistently.
It is not going to teach you whole quants section, it is for clearing those doubts, which you can not understand. Weak areas, non-clear methods, problems of a certain kind which keep haunting you mock after mock. It will be all of this and more...Obviously more... We have puys like Sux and The_hate to guide us. We have already seen a glimpse of what they are capable of and how much to-the-point they can be. To add to this, we have ourselves. One person who can help us in the best way possible.
What this place would not provide is a life support. You have to do the hard work. No compromise on that. We expect you to sweat. We will give you the energy boost as and when required, but not round the clock. You have to find a way for yourself. This place is not for spoon feeding. We can give you the spoon, you have to find your food yourself. Tips, tricks, shortcuts, reading techniques, citing sitters are some of the things we promise to help you with.
The basic aim of this team is to make the team members help themselves and help their mates in the team
Also, maintaining your place here would demand effort from you, and me.
I was initially against the concept of a captain but I do not have the final say in that. So, I abide by selectors' decision. Remember, you perform, you stay in 11, else you might be sitting on the bench, and may be I'd be sitting with you. 
Message is, no one is preferred one or chosen one here. All are equals.
After every mock the scores will be calculated and top 11 will be selected. It is up to the "Bench" to perform in the next mock to come into the 11. Similarly, if you are in 11 today, that gives you no points. You still have to fight hard and perform in the next mock to maintain that place. DEMOCRACY!
Remember, being in the 11 or bench or even being out of the team...these are trivial things yet necessary so as to keep COMPLACENCY at bay...no one should let this evil come in their ways...It cost me very much in last year's CAT...So I know..To have a competitive atmosphere, it is very important to be on our toes...However, what matters in the end is CAT. So no need to get disheartend from the fact that you are not in 11, or you are not in the team .. concentrate on you final aim...CAT(do not tell me it is SBT!!!) I would have been as happy to be outside the team as I am now. And let me tell you, I would have been very much a part of it, not just a silent follower, but an active contributor.
As SUX mentioned, everyone is welcome to be a part of this thread and gain from it. Also, it would be always welcomed if you can contribute to it. We all know something which others don't. Let's be a little less selfish than we already are

The Game is about to begin(as said by bachchan ji in aankhen ).Hmm..iam bherry bherry happy to be in SBT and as navi said its not about SBT its all about CAT( navi wonderful post btw). I would like to thank sux, hate and utsi for bringing out this concept of SBT and most important implementing it. Its not only about competing with each other (as it is said perform or sit out) but also helping each other in every possible manner one can. Motivating each other when one is down. And most important hard work will be the key.
So lets start our journey and enjoy every moment of this preparation phase.
