I've screwing up QA/DI alternately. VA somehow pulls those up.

3) The main reason behind giving CAT is the things happening in the company. Well, I always know that when I'm pushed to the wall, I come back like my Idol Rahul Dravid.

I love the name Under Dog team, my first attempt at CAT.
I visit PG religiously but my posts are not that high but have started posting much more often. Even though I missed DI cutoff in 2 aimcats, its my strong area. Its english that worries me :P

Why AM I AN UNDERDOG....???

1) Cat 2008 was a real eye opener for me.Writing mocks was the only preparation from my side.By the time i realized, it was too late. Somehow managed 94.91 % with balanced sectionals.Just crossed cutoff in IIFT, but couldn't convert.

2)Started following PG for my IIFT GD/PI prep.Thats when i realized there is so much more to be done to get into the IIMs.

3)Although my mock scores are never really high, I am confident that i have the ability to do it. All that i need is the right momentum at the right time to realize my dreams.

4)I am a regular follower of PG though i do not post much.I am not working(thanks to slowdown), and am available online 10-12 hrs a day.I am always willing to help my fellow puys in whatever way i can.

5)I always had the ability to succeed, be it JEE or CAT.It was my preparation that was not up to the mark. Now that i have learnt my lessons the hard way, i am sure that i will bounce back in cat2009.

The reasons for my selection in the much coveted UDT'09 are:

1)My strong determination to end up as a IIM student,which I am confident of making this year,though my mock scores r no way close but can and will improve.

2)'Underdog' is the term that I can use 4 myself now,but if we make a good team and work upon the strategies together, the whole team will be benefited and end up as achievers team.I being a good team player understand my responsibilities and will work myself out to benefit my team and my self simultaneously.

3)I already have cat 08 experience and scored 86.12but this failure had taught me new lesson and i had worked considerably well on my weak part VA.This reflects in my mock scores.

4)with 3 months remaining and all time zealous puys to my company and the hardwork that I am puttin in I am confident of makin to the 'Much Coveted' IIM' s.

5)Though I have not been regular @ posting to PG forums,I have always been active in PG and subscribed to many threads.....so plz omit this factor in canceling my nomination.I promise that I will be regular in posting too(meaningful posts).

6)'selection' or 'no selection' would not hinder my confidence....as many puys are helpful and the pour in their valuable suggestions and advises.....THANX PG for this Interface. selection would increase my confidence....and add a responsibility on my shoulders to crack the CAT along with my team mates.........

2 years since i discovered PG
More than 1 year of serious posts

2 years full of amazing highs and heartbreaks.....
1st time round others had more faith than me.....
2nd time round I had to show that I can give the big boys a run for their money.......

that our percentiles meant IIM calls......

But it was not to be!

I Do OKAY in Verbal...

But the only reason why I nominate myself is.. I AM AN UNDERDOG!!!
Have always been one. Sub-standard schooling, sub-standard college life, AND a sub-standard work environment.
There are some people who can make it to the Dream Teams and the UDTs of PG, just based on their superior intellect.
Then there are some like me, who have the raw gumption (Or is it my PAGAL-pan??) to nominate myself with three scores of less than 75%ile this season...
People dont know me here.. but then im like the countless others..
leeches... leeching on information, growing from strength to strength, annihilating my weaknesses...
PG is my IE homepage.. I never needed a motivator, PG has always been here for me. Im not an engineer, neither am i a brilliant student. I dont have an experience in a fortune 500 company.

Last year i was an underdog. I only aimed at second rung institutes which I made to, and also converted. but then there was something that stopped me from joining.
It was PG. It was the "All i wanted to speak about CAT" thread to be precise.

No offence meant to anyone, but Atleast I didnt want to blaze my trail on that sacred thread saying I Post-graduated from a BIM, a KJ or a We-school... It just wasnt enough...
So like the thousand other PUYs, (who made that difficult choice inspite of being stuck in ruts of misery, bad bosses, and financial instability.. not to mention the unpredictability of the following CAT),

The UDT thread is more flooded than the DT thread surprising to note that ppl are lovin to associate themselves with the Underdog Tag, gr8 news for UDT

Anyways folks, my side gyaan.. simple enuf.. RC's r the Key in VA... they make or break the section, so ppl scoring less in VA look into it.

anyways i feel the time for advice is later, let the team be formed first.

I am an advisor for DT but my heart n soul lie with UDT. So, i am willing to be anything here.

i am writing CAT again for fun(pehla pyaar ko kabhi bhulna nahi chahiye) , i can be a part of the team as well

So, i can be anything from a player to asst coach coz coach is left to our beloved Prem Bhai (The True UDTian )
