Hi people,

Unmaad this year reincarnates itself as Unmaad X3 `Xanadu 2003', a cultural showcase featuring students from educational institutions, and young professionals from the corporate world, as they pit their wits and talent in a two-and-half-day extravaganza filled with events, entertainment, and loads of excitement. Scheduled from the 17thto the 19thof January, 2003, X3 promises to be a celebration of youth, like never before.As in previous editions of Unmaad, X3 comprises of Events * competitive bedlam featuring some of the most talented youth of the nation * and Entertainment * comprising of stage shows by some of India's most reputed entertainers.

Unmaad X3 features two breathtaing evenings of professional shows by some of the country's finest performers. The two evenings are Vortex-The World Music Night: An evening of world music featuring SILK, a group featuring Zakir Hussain, Shivamani, Shankar Mahadevan and Louis Banks. Ministry of Sound: A `Rock Fest' featruing rock bands like Parikrama, ATF and Galeej Gurus.

A large number of competitive events, featuring students from educational institutions in and around the city will run through the length of the fest. Sivamani along with L.Shankar and Zakir Hussain were at Coimbatore about a year ago...those guys are amazing...the things they do!!

were not able to go to the sivamani/mhdvn show..

went to galeej gurus, pentagram show though.. was pretty ok.. the stage acts by pentagram lead singer were pretty good.but their music sucked..
