Man my attempts are horrible.Could only solved 2 caselets in 45 minutes.Similarly attempted 3 RC out of4.But could not attempt para completion questions due to time.

My first SIMCAT

First of all, kudos to IMS management for conducting the mocks in such an efficient way...it was so CAT-LIKE....
TIME ppl can take a take a queue from these guys...

Now back to the exam....

here are the scores

QA - 8C, 5W - 27
DI - 8C - 32
VA - 22C 13W - 75
OA - 38C 18W = 134.

Now if anybody thinks I allotted much more time to VA, then please don't....but these marks surely give that impression...

I start with EU usually, but just as I glanced thru the paper, I found 5 easy qa problems waiting in the first page itself. What the heck, strated with QA....

Fisrt 5 problems...12 minutes max.....and I was thinking whoa...this is my day...
The next 40 minutes was a struggle I wish to forget....dunno why I messed up with most of the problems that followed...
Frustrated, moved on to VA...and in 40 minutes or so....completed the RC's( all 4 of them)...Did some VA q's in the next 5-6 minutes and then moved on to DI.

Now let's face it..I cant do DI...
So I started with a modest target of solving 2 caselets....
Did the last two ( really easy ones)...was sure will get 32 out of it.....and it took 25 minutes.

I had around 15 minutes in my hand....and in a wild rush did almost all the VA q's apart from the sentence corrections

Moved on to QA and to my horror I found I had done two of them wrongly.
Again did those two..unmarked and marked again in the OMR sheet, and the bell rang thankfully to end my struggles in my "strong" area....that is QA.

Hello to all of you!

While I wonder as to what the sectional cut-offs might be,here are my scores :

QA 26 ( 7C 2W)
DI 28 (7C)
VA 82 (22C 6W,the saving grace)

Fellas,please post the expected cutoffs in each section as well as overall cutoffs.I'm a bit too confused as to what they might be.

P.S.- I still grope in the dark while trying to select the easy set in DI/LR.

Hmm, what do I say.

QA - 0 (1C4W) - WTF. That's all that I can think of. Was left completely dumbfounded by the questions.
DI - 34 (9C2W) - Not bad. Couldn't attempt 2 caselets due to lack of time.
VA - 72 (22C16W) - Alright considering that the RC's were pretty easy. Messed up the other areas of VA though.

Overall = 106

Seriously, I need to start working on my QA. I dunno what you guys thought but it was really tough IMO.

How much do you guys think the cutoff would be ? 115ish ?
