Re: cat '09 study group -COCHIN - 28-08-2009, 04:23 PM

here is my strategy, start with VA for about 40 mins then Math for 40 and then DI/LR for 40, remaining 30 mins to be given to the section which i think i havent cleared the cut offs.... i am planning to take 3 months off beg sept 1st and then do like 1 paper a day in the morning and analyse it post lunch... and spend like couple of hours daily and cover the TIME basic material and also reading HINDU editorial on a daily basis... What are your strategy guys!!!

hi jake thnx 4 ur valuable strategy.......i also alwaz start with verbal n i'll allot around 35 min 4 it.....
then i move on 2 di\lr section....dis is d section whr i'm aiming 2 score high...n time alloting depends upon d difficulty of d section....
last but nt d least is - quant which i think i'm in good condition 2 clear its cut-off comfortably.....
for d coming cardinal 3 months i'd like 2 attempt as many mocks as possible...ma performances in online aimcats is not up to d mark...i feel jittery...i planng 2 work 4 atleast 3-4 hrs per day 4 cat....which i hv been doing 4 d past 8 months...

The strategy should be to start with the section in which u r strongest then the one with the weakest then followed by the section which in which ur are moderate.

as far as i'm concerned ma concentration levels go down as d time moves on during test....so if i attempt verbal atlast i'm unable 2 giv ma 100%...whr as quant is ma stronger one n hence it wont require much concentration levels.

hey guys,
am also a student at time cochin. highest percentile that i've got till date is 97.46 in AIMCAT1014. CBT AIMCATS are proving to be the Achilles' heel in my case. My strategy is to go for Verbal first, then Quants, then RC and then finally DI/LR. But I think I need to experiment a bit more.
