but the story is same for Civil Services exam too.
i think the start should be made by making the whole selection process more transparent. people must know what they are required to do to get an admission into the IIM they desire for. |
If they told you what they were looking for, you could practice and make yourself perfect in that, not unlike we do for the cat!
The cat is an IQ test of sorts and they want intelligent, quick, smart and efficient minds to mould. I dont think business acumen is something we are born with - training can do wonders
Besides the selection process has been successful in as far as it has been producing good managers for many many years; let us not doubt the system - i'm sure the stalwarts heading these b-schools are more concerned about the appropriateness of the selection process than we are!!
