XII: 96.1 %, among toppers in the state, Andhra Pradesh State board (not sure though whether it matters)
GMAT: 640 (Q: 47 V: 31) AWA- 5.0/6.0
Work Exp: 2 years as of now.
Extra Curr: Good, core committee member of my company's CSR (Corporate social responsibilty) club
Job Profile: Working as a SAP-ABAP Consultant for MNC for past 2 years.
I have relatively low work experience and an average GMAT score, so how good are my chances of getting into Great Lakes.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Vinod,
Your academic profile is really impressive. However, your GMAT score is on a lower side. I would suggest you to work on other aspects of your profile like extra curriculars, essays, work profile( appreciations etc..) and recommendations. Great Lakes evaluates a candidate on overall profile. If you intend to take GMAT again then you can apply with most recent GMAT score. All the best.

Essays are there to test your thought process and values. The topics keep on changing each year. Essays should be original and precise. There would be 3-4 essays. Hope that helps. New batch profile would be put up on website shortly. The average GMAT score is 690 for the current batch and average work exp is 47 months.

Register yourself for the "Meet the Dean " seesion for this year at GREAT LAKES INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT, CHENNAI - INDIA.
Meet the dean seesion is conducted each year in major cities to have an interaction with prospective students. Dean and founder Prof Bala himself would be addressing students at various venues. This is an opportunity to know more about Great Lakes and life here.

Hi Rakesh,
Your profile is impressive including your academics, work experience and GMAT score. I would suggest to work on other aspects like ECs, your achievements, essays and recommendations. Telephonic interviews have been conducted in past for people deputed overseas.
Please keep looking Great Lakes website and pagalguy for future communications regarding admissions and other related developments.
