Generally guys who are consistently in the top 50 AIR get into iims...
but to be there consisitently does take a lot of commitment and hardwork...

Any comments about the IMS quan part...
when ever i take a ims test paper and try solving the quan part... i always end up getting a lesser score than that i get in a CL paper...

find ims quan paper really tough...
is it the same with others also??

yes they are tough but thats not to say that they are representative of the quality or type of problem you will see in cat!

yes u are absolutely right...

are the mocks of CL and TIME on similar lines with CAT...??
because last year when i was in ims... i always felt that the quan part was always a notch higher in the difficulty level that cat...

What can we say about TIME and CL quan part in Mocks...

the only time paper i did was one tht came free in competition success review! THeir older onpes were chicken shit but this one was pretty fine!
have done a few CL ones - nothing to write home about.
I suppose we will never be satisfied@

hi,
I havent heard about the institute u have joined for cat preparation but as far as Mock cat is concerned we can not say that a particuler is having best mock cat .because u will find something and something bad.But it 'll better if u join mock cat of IMS or carrier launcher.

The mock cats of CF are quite good and they did give me a rough idea of what my CAT score would be. And my CAT score was quite close to it.

Prime is allright. besides, never look a free mock cat in the mouth!!

It wont be a waste of your time. I did a few last year. they have many number theory and function questions and their Va AND DI is all right. Are they doing it sll over india?

Hi, this is suryavishwakanth. i have recently attended the 1st AIMCAT held by time. i got a rank of 450. but i think this ranking was done with a smaller participant base. appxly. 10,000 of the cat aspirants appeared.
i agree that ims's cocky. but i presume the student base that appear for time MOCKCATS would increase as the deadline for CAT2004 nears. so i suggest u to appear for the time tests.
