I have 2 give CAT next year i.e.,2005
Which coaching institute is best in delhi
1.Career launcher
2.career forum
3.Time
4.Pt india
5.Manchanda(i heard i has good results and takes entrance test for admissions in his institute.Dont know much about him)
6.Vocab bulding classes(r they really needed?)
7.Correspondance(buying pirated material (ims/brilliant) from janta book depot from jnu or nayi sadak will work?its available for rs.700 at jnu)
8.brilliant tutorials
9.trump and gates
10.bulls eye
11.etc. other lesser known institutes
Have i left any good 1s do tell
i wanna know the truth behind as i want some institute which gives quality teaching and not quality material which can b recieved anyway.Brand matters but studies and results matter most!!!So tell me the unbiased truths.i wud b grateful 2 u ppl

some imp ques plz:-
1.plz tell me is it really worth going for 2 yrs cat coaching or 1 or 1/2 yrs prep is enuf
2.learning word lists is really important?i guess i learn some but forget very easily.tried making flash cards but very difficult 2 put these words in our my system.how 2 go about it
3.vedic maths is important? as i feel it somehow slows my calculations and becoming shakuntla devi is not possible at least for me
4.how 2 go about my 1 1/2 years.i have ample of time
5.shud i give some diagnostic test right now 2 atleast start on my track
6.i heard some peak performance concept.whats that.some say my performance may not b at peak if i start preparing now.y?
7.correspondance courses r ok or shud classroom course really b taken
8.shud i give proxy cat this yr so that i know exam conditions beforehand or is it waste of time

1. I think 1 year coaching should be good enough to do well.

2. Vocabulary isn't very important in CAT. If you can't mug up the words, don't worry about it.

3. I found that Vedic isn't too helpful in DI. Normal calculation is efficient enough.

8. Why not give CAT now? Nothing to lose and you get the CAT exam atmosphere experience as well.
