Respective Program Secretaries will send a mail by last week of mail , which will contain the details of Remedial courses and dates. Usually the remedials will start one week prior to the commencement of course. Remedials are optional
You will have 4 courses for remedials- Accounting ,Economics,IT and Maths. U can manage even without remedials.Not many attended remedials in our batch

i am quite skeptical abt dell as in our college we purchased dell in bulk deals..... and many of them had defects coming up now n then ..... the build quality of dell is not good..... in terms of build quality HP is the best but its unnecessarily expensive....VAIO is expensive than a dell but its a piece of beauty and performance wise its the best....

if we get some deal in which we get lappy w/o OS it would be gr8 ....personally i still like XP....


Apple r very cheap in bulk if we can get a right source.....

even i hate vista , wud love to have a machine without OS. but my target price is in the range of 40-50K. will see if i get a gud machine in that range, till now i was getting an awesome config from dell in that range , others(HP,sony) were going out of my pocket.

@barath , do we loose any credits on not attending remedials. coz i will be coming to delhi only in june 1st week , not before that,so wont b able to attend remedials.

@seniors , can u tell wat was the deal offered by the laptop dealers last yr.
regarding hostel , can u ppl tell how many ppl can be accomodated in the adhchini hostel(i just want to know, whether i ll get hostel or not).

You wont lose any credits for remedial.It is not part of main course. Its just an optional course in case u feel u need to know something before the course. U can manage without that
Last year Dell offered a good deal .After your course starts there will be dealers visiting the campus and offering deals. A group of students can club together and go for the deal which u think is the best
Adchini hostel has the capacity of 47 students. Outstation candidates will be given first preference

this is a very urgent query.... i have to still give my final sem exams n our univ has postponed the papers.... i wont be able to come bfore 1st july....how will it affect me.... will i lose a lot!!!!

last yr one pdf(hostel allotment) was uploaded for the hostel allotment for PGDM/HR ppl.
but when u look into that pdf , there are only 16 entries for boyz , and 5 for girls.so doesnt look like this was the first hostel allotement list.
As this was loaded on 18th june 2008,so my guess is that the first list must have put up(or intimated to ppl) by 3-4th week of may.

seniors must be able to give a clear picture about the hostel allotment

dont worry..U can talk to ur Program Director about that and take a leave
Last time in my class one person took a leave for 20 days for giving his papers.U wont lose much..U can cope up

You will be getting an official letterfrom Hostel warden around mid May in case u have been allotted hostel accommodation. You will be asked to pay the fees for hostel within two weeks. After two weeks if some people have not taken up the accommodation, the next set of people will be given accommodation
