Quoting a friend of mine :
However, with days passing without any official word from IIM-C, it seems that two things are happening:-
- The on-hold people are becoming more frustrated - which is perfectly understandable given the predicament that they are in. And they are getting more angry at the institute.
- The confirmed candidates are already starting to feel a sense of belonging to the institute, and are becoming more and more protective of it.
The above is leading to clashes of opinion, and today was not a good day @ PG. I could see people taking sides, some through outright posts, and some through thanks and groans.. There were 2 opposing views being concocted all through the threads pages 83-86.
As much as I hope everyone gets through, there might be people who don't, and I'm pretty sure that they will feel bitter, Whereas all the admits wouldn't agree with that. That would lead to further clashes of opinion and ultimately it'll just spoil the environment.
A separate thread is not an offense to anyone.
If other people feel the same way, they would discuss stuff here. Otherwise no one would use it and this thread and it would disappear anyway. One individual cannot run a thread all by himself.
Why bother? There are so many threads started right? AS I said if people are comfortable there, this thread won't matter anyway. And If they are not comfortable there, it would mean this thread was required.
THere are waitlisters threads for every IIM. Aren't there? kya farak padta hai?
