Right folks, This thread is for all the OBC candidates who have been put on hold and the ones who are on waiting list. I know there's another thread here for OBC people, but I thought having a specific one might help us to a greater extent in tracking the movement and analysing our chances.

Now I really think some of you are shy to post comments and such, hence I have a poll, So please please please everbody and anybody who is an OBC candidate who has converted or put on hold or waitlisted in IIM Calcutta DO VOTE!!

PS: If you think the options here are not sufficient or if there's any more feedback or comments do post!

Also if possible, do give the waitlist rank or the on hold priority rank so we get an idea of how many people are on the waitlist and on hold list.

I am one of those poor souls whose admit has been put on-hold. thanks for starting this thread. anybody who has been put on hold or converted and not joining please do reply.

Dun matter as long as there is info for you guys..
Well what do we know so far...
Based on sources here in PG, we have a highest number of 14 in the on hold and 20 in WL so far.
And there is this post by Rohit.Phoenix,

"Hey puys! I have got a piece of information that might give us slight relief amidst this fiasco!! A senior of mine at IIM C stated that the admin has given excactly 408 final calls now with no buffer, thereby putting the previous buffer calls into the HOLD list category!!!

Wishing luck to everyone selected before to make it through!!!I know the wait would be agonizing to say the least, but praying every one of us put on the hold status ends up with a smile at the end of the day!!!

Hey. what r those numbers that u r quoting?? 14 in on-hold and 20 in waitlist? r they for OBC?

Yeah those are for OBC, but only so far! As in based on the details people have posted in PG only.
And now I've heard the number 20 in the on hold list too.

So basically what it means is we know that there are at least 20 on both the lists based on PG information. There will obviously be more, but these numbers might help us guesstimating!

ya. and according to the OBC spreadsheet that is doing the rounds, there are 4 people in that list who r going to ditch C for either A or B till now. Now that is good news.
