Percentile - 81.51
GD and Pi were just ok and I belong to MBC category.

One more suggestion. Why dont you guys post your scores, your result and which category (OC, BC, MBC) you belong to so that we might be able to confirm our positions.

When I entered my 6 digit BIM App. No (starts with 0); It said Sorry you are not selected and I was and . I thought ; it can't happen to me again.... thats too with an excellent PI and good GD.

But then I removed leading 0 and re-entered my App no
(this time only significant 5 digits) and

Hi Puys aspirants for BIM!

To my surprise, I got a rejection..not even in wait-list in spite of good acads and CAT percentile.. My details are:

CAT: 95.12 percentile
Xth: 91.6%
XIIth:69.0%
B.Tech: 82% upto 6th sem.

In retrospect, I can say my GD was of ok type..i had contributed well entering 3-4 times with valid points but others were off the mark in the sense there was no group dynamics..topic was "bullet for bullet" and everybody threw out all kinds of craps into the discussion.. i can rate GD
as 5/10. In PI, it was almost good..only one question was not ok but whatever i answered, the panel seemed to be satisfied..this i can rate 6/10...possibly their scale of expectation is still more i presume..
ok..let me now look for other results!

I believe it was the performance in GD/PI that converted the call. GD was on economics, my favourite topic, I spoke throughout the GD, adding valid points throughout, facilitated others to speak and cracked a couple of jokes (related to the topic off-course) and i noted the panelist nodded in appreciation. It was a dream GD.

PI was cool. Usual stuff was asked. Before winding up the panelist asked about my favorite book, which happened to be a book that he had read. It became an very friendly conversation for 5 mins. Hence PI was a relatively longer than other guys.

I have only one feeling after seeing the result. A deep sense on gratitude for the authorities of BIM for selecting me. I am very grateful to the seniors Sharan, Jiten, Abu and Ramya for taking their time off to help you. See you soon on campus.
