Whew..! Posting after a long long time..!! Hope you all are doing great..!!

For those of you who are still thinking about which college to move on to... Do refer to the following PDFs... This is an extensive survey done by a magazine (Read Business world) widely read across the student and the corporate fraternity... and so it has go a tremendous value and impact.

After Outlook, its Business World ranking NITIE in Top 5.

1. Overall NITIE is 5th, Placements wise NITIE is placed 3rd...!! You might find it hard to believe... but then NITIE has done some really great things in the past to achieve this position. The extremely high percentilers getting into NITIE (Higher than any other Non-IIM B-Schools and even some IIMs too), its very very high return on investment, the amazing placements, Round the year extracurricular activites and many many more things have contributed in NITIE achieving this feat. The fact that all the top B-Schools except IIM-B participated in this survey gives a lot of credence to this survey.

2. Don't forget to attend Impressions '09 (NITIE 2009-11 Final results out) in your cities..!! Its only for you people.

Hey koolbuddy thanks for the info....but i find some irregularities in Outlook survey....IMT n IMI ranked higher than JB...JB always get ranked lower coz of poor infrastructure....but considering selection process n placements its at par with some IIM's n NITIE. I am happy joinin NITIE...one of the best in the country

did anybody go to the admissions office and inquire about the movement in the wait list up till now....how many have applied for their fee back and how many have dropped out from the second wait list...

please if anybody can find it out share with us it would be really helpful for waitlisted candidates like us....

all the seniors are busy with their summers and no ones on campus during the office hours...its better you call up the admissions office...

u can track the waitlist tracker for the time being..it gives some info for sure..it had some problems but i have reverted it back to the previous version now..
as per the waitlist tracker- 16 out of 41 (in the new waitlist) wont be paying fees as they have other calls...8 will be joining for sure and we dont have any information on the other 17 candidates...Apart from this 8 more candidates should apply for refund during this period..
this info is as per the waitlist tracker so we cant really predict the nos now..lets wait for 2-3 days and we might have some good news coming our way...

he is talking about last year but the thing to be noted out here is that it got cleared on june 16th2008 and 19th was the joining date for the seniors..

last yr late iim results had major impact on nitie and similar colleges lists...
