1. making NITIE an IIM is very difficult now as they (HRD Min) has already selected sites for new IIMs
2. and there some difficulties with PGDIE course of NITIE too.

but it would be really a very good option to upgrade it to IIM, as India's financial hub don't have one.

Dear friends of course Nitie has enough infra, faculty and funds to be an IIM, but the fact remains that it caters only engineers. Why would they make an engineering based MBA college an IIM. So chances are on the lower side.

I just wanted to know whether I am eligible as an ISP candidate. And for an ISP candidate do they require some particular industry experience only with some particular profile etc..?
Also how they shortlist the ISP candidates for GD-PI as no written scores are taken from them. Or there are not many who apply as an ISP so no need to shortlist.

only PGDITM and PGDISEM have ISP seats...there are non for the PGDIM course...the PGDITM course would need an IT work ex...
shortlisting for ISPs is generally based on the profiles...a GD/PI could be comparatively easier to get, but you need to be good to get a final call...

1. I see on the website NITIE website - Admission Procedure that PGDIM also has ISP candidates. Please confirm?

2. PGDITM is course for IT professionals so I am eligible there. But what about other courses (I am considering PGDIE course as well).

3. What percent of batch comprises of ISP students approx? And how many apply for it? (if you have any idea )

1. There are no ISP seats for the PGDIM course...there seems to be some error on the website with that info...i have spoken to the admin and it will be corrected

2. we handle queries only for the management batch ie PGDIM/ITM/ISEM...no much knowledge abt the IE course

3. in ITM, for a total of 22 seats there are 5 ISP seats and for ISEM for a total of 34 seats there are 15 ISP seats...not all get filled though...dont have an exact count on ISP candidates in the current batch...

alrite junta...something on the loan front...we have received the application form for this year...the link to the form is given below...everyone is requested to get the from filled along with all the docs mentioned in the form before they come on campus...we will have an SBI officer coming to campus to verify and collect all the docs...if he approves the docs the processing should not take more than 10 days...

Hi Seniors,

Please help me on this ,

I had sent my draft through courier on Tuesday and it was expected to have reached NITIE by today. I called up NITIE office today in the afternoon and the lady told me that the staff is all involved with the PGDIE interview and any information about the receiving of the draft would only be available on Monday ( 18th May ) . As given in the waitlist the last date for the DD to be received at NITIE is 19th May ... so i was worried if my draft had not reached I would only come to know about it by MONDAY and I would be left with very little time to arrange for something.

Please help

Even i called Nitie today, although they said that the staff was involved with pgdie gd/pi s, but they transferred the call to a lady who checked the status of my DD. You sent it yesterday right??
then wait for 1-2 days.. it will reach. Even my DD has not reached yet.
