Finally made it to NITIE, went today and personally collected the acceptance letter . Nitesh Manik(WL #23 OBC) has fms waitlist and will be joining Fms if converted

4 those who have been selected in WL2, do we have to send the DD even before we receive the admission letter or should we wait 4 it...
if we have to send the DD b4 receiving the letter, what all details do we have to write on the back of the dd and do we have 2 send anything else alongwith it??

Also have a PGPM convert from MDI...will take a decision over the weekend...

For all those who have converted thru the 2nd waitlist and are taking up the offer, here is ur next course of action to confirm ur seat

- Dont wait for the offer letter to reach, it takes time as it comes in UPC post,so u can send the DD of 1,30,500 in favor of NITIE Mumbai payable at Mumbai drawn on any bank.

- Write the following at the back of ur DD
- your name
- NITIE application no
- Course you are taking up( PGDIM,SEM etc )
- your contact no.

- You can know the status of your DD by calling NITIE admissions dept

Only thing to confirm your seat ryt nw is "SEND UR DD"

We now know tht 3rd WL will be out on 20th May, can anyone comment on chances of a fourth wl because it is for sure that even after 3rd wl, all the seats won't get filled. But, as per the Supreme Court order, all seats have to be filled.

Has anyone called NITIE adm office and confirmed about this thing??

last year waitlist moved after the date of joining so this year also it will be the same..so waitlist will move till all da 134 seats are filled and thats the whole point of giving out such a huge w8list..

Hi ppl I just converted NITIE... Thanks to Deep for mentioning the details. I wanted to send my DD tomorrow itself. So just wanted to confirm that do I have to attach a separate cover letter with my DD or do I just mail them the DD with the details mentioned by Deep on the back? Also is there no need of mentioning other details like CAT score, TR number etc...

Btw.. I was originally waitlisted 106 for the PGDIM course in the general category...

There's no harm in sending a separate covering letter stating ur acceptance of the offer mentioning other details,but that's not mandatory.Do call them n ask them ur DD status after few days..
