Congrats to all those who made it to MICA!!
But now, I have a big problem...
Can Deval Mam or any senior help me out with it?
Actually, I have my 6th sem BBM board exams (Bangalore University) from the last week of May to the first week of June. The exact timetable has not yet been announced. It is highly impossible for me to attend the 1 month orientation classes. But I really really dont want to miss out on the vital information that would be given that time....
Im sure there must be a few more students who are in the same situation. Is it possible for MICA to put up an official link on its website and gather details of the number of students who would genuinely not be able to attend the classes?
And can they try to arrange short crash classes for such students later??
Please also let me know about the documents that we need to submit to get an official approval from MICA for our absence from the Orientation classes...
Thanks a lot...
Awaiting your reply....

hi,
well, to tell you as to what happened last year, there were a good number of students who were in a similar situation like yours... some of them joined late, some of them came for t he orientation,
studied here for their exams (yeh, they actually did!!!), and went back, took their final exams and came bak, or joined after the orientation...
the thing with arranging a special crash course would be that you guys would have enough course subjects to handle in term1, and plug that in with a crash course, might just really 'crash' you guys...
i would suggest you get in touch with the program office and notify them about your schedule as and when you get it. as far as the learnings from the orientation is there, really doubt if that can be replicated...
some of the sessions, like transcreativity, would ofcourse be made available to you once you are back on campus, with the CCC or RCM students..
good luck!!!
