Topic: Educational Qualifications are losing their values.

Brief Snapshot of Discussion:
Moi started the GD by saying that - Friends the very fact that we all are sitting here represents that our undergraduate degree has been devalued(Writing this coz later on i was mauled abt this in the PI
).
Came in the GD for 3-4 times.
All in all a cordial discussion which could have been a fish market

SX- Sir , MDI is my sole call.

SX- Not that bad , Actually i considered it to be my strength during my preps
M- CAT is an UNFAIR exam

M- CAT is vry unfair.OK! Tell me how should CAT be standardised?
SX- Sir, CAT is on its way to standardise itself
M- How?
SX- Equal weightage to English and QA/DI put together (BLAH BLAH)
M- So u mean CAT has not been standardised for the past 50 yrs ?

L- And u also mean that QA and DI require same set of skills. If they require same set of skills then are they fools to give you two different sections?
SX (Smiling shamelessly) - While preparation i had this perception that they require same set of skills , but i need to rethink my perceptions

L-(sees tha list) and says Acc to all the parameters that u have written the quality of educational qualifications has been increasing.

SX- Binomial distribution?
M- Arey No Binomial yaar
L-You would calculate an index
SX- Yes , Mam we'll take a weighted mean (explained evrything)
L- So , tell me are the educational qualifications still losing its values?
SX- Mam , we would need lots of data , parameters ,also said in between about education being VALUELESS and also translated it into AMULYA in hindi

SX- It is very Generic

SX- Talked abt knowledge.........and how educational qualifications in abundance would devalue itself .... the way money devalues itself ...... talked abt knowledge ..... liquidity et al
M- What is knowledge?
SX- Knowledge is the most liquid asset
M- I thought it to be the most solid asset
SX- Sir acc to me it is the most liquid asset
M-It is solid
SX- Sir i think it is liquid
M- I think it is Solid because ... once u have it u store it in ur mind and it is rite up there
SX- I think it is Liquid because ..... once u have it u can transact it anywhere anytime.

SX- When Krishna says - YADA YADA HI DHARMASYA.........
What he actually means is.......Whenever their wud be evil in the society he will come and destroy them..... Similar is the case with Socialism......For eg. SUB PRIME CRISIS .... their are toxic assets in the market and the government is trying to get rid of them
AND when,
Krishna Says - KARMANYE VAADIKARASTE ........
What he actually means is..... Do ur work.... dont worry abt gains..... Same is the case with SOCIALISM..... where u do ur work and dont worry abt capital gains.......
and these are two cornerstones of socialist philosphies.....
