hi guys
my first post on the forum
am in a fix
cant chose between VGSOM n NITIE (pgdim)
having read all the posts i kno u guys would vouch for nitie
smhow i feel that VGSOM is gonna make it big in the days to come n might even overtake nitie by the time i pass out
read in 1 post that wt matters is the institute standing at a point n not the time when 1 passed out or got admitted to it
am a fresher who only opted for nitie thru CAT n gav JMET only apart frm CAT
wanted an mba where my chemical engg. degree helped...so the choice

Well You do have a choice to make yaar. Personally i think NITIE is probably the best college for Industrial Management. VGSOM is coming up no doubt, with the IIT tag nehind it is sure to do well in future. But still NITIE is miles ahead of VGSOM in most areas. SJSOM Mumbai is catching up fast ..... lekin VGSOM has a couple of disadvantags like locatin and all .It does get the same companies as IIT KGP does though.

Well NITIE is what i would suggest

Sure yaar ........ SJSOM is far ahead of VGSOM ... in placements, faculty, quality of intake etc etc .

NITIE anytime .....in case you're intersted in Industrial Mgmt.
Keep in mind that NITIE is a specialised field for mgmt.

Adv of NITIE:-

better placements
better location
better summer placements
better salaries

all this if you take on a long term basis.....
VGSOM is doing well...but can't take a gamble on your MGMT. Qualification

Cudn't agree more dude! All rational decisions must be brutally realistic, rooted in the 'present' and at the same time 'factor-in the future'.....either ways NITIE is by far the better option, VGSOM is also awesome though.
So, NITIE all the way!
