The certificates they are checking for are that of under graduation- all semesters separately and the cat score card. They are not even looking at the other certificates. But still don't take chances and take all certificates from 10th onwards. Also don't forget the work-ex and caste certificates if they are applicable to you.
And no order of arrangement is required.
hey , we have a consolidated marks list for all smesters... is that sufficient? or is it necessary for mark sheets of each semester seperately?
i had my GD/PI today at the campus of bim and mine was the first batch to have its gd/pi. hence we set the ball rolling.
i reached the campus at 8 am with great difficulty.
was then led to a hall where the verification of certificates was to be done. in all we had 35 students assembled there. perhaps 1 was absent in this list of 35. we were welcomed by the faculty and wished gud luck. then there was a presentation by the second year seniors who showed us some clips of the college and other relevant date. there was a senior from the placement deptt as well who gave us a picture of the placements this year.
approximately there were 5-7 seniors for the entire duration sorting our problems and replying to the queries. simultaneously our certificates were verified. then we were divided in to two groups of 10 each and sent for gd in two separate rooms. while the rest were called for the interviews
my gd
i went to the gd rooms with 9 other people of which i had already interacted with few of them earlier.
we sat on a rectangular table with 3 moderators on 1 edge. we were give a badge number each and a seat according to that.
our topic was BUILDING INDIA.
we were given 2 mints to think.
it was a very very very nice gd. everyone participated well. no one was cutting others point. noone tryied to pull other down. everyone was listening to the other. many ideas came forward. and the gd came to an end after 20 mints.
now we had to summerise the gd in a paragraph in a page given to us. we did it.
now we headed to the hall and waited there for our interview calls and it came pretty soon.
Were the candidates allowed to note down the points during the GD? I am asking this because it will help the candidates to easily summarize the whole discussion without losing any point.

Yes we could have noted the points during the gd but that is not advisable because it is better to concentrate totally on the gd so that you could enter the discussion as soon as you get a proper entry point.

Am clueless as to what exactly to think for your GD topic.It is a very general one and vast,one could say.

Yes certainly this was a very vast topic and that was the best thing about it. We never run out of time. We started with the agriculture thing. Its share in the gdp. How to improve it. The drawbacks. Improvemet in literacy, system etc. Industries. IT sector.... . Now i hope that you must have got am idea about it.

The member of the placement committee have the data for placement. According to him 86 of the batch of 90 has been placed. The highest package has been 10.xx lakhs, average 7.xx lakhs, and lowest has been 4.5 lakhs.
And i think that this is great in the given market conditions.

The consolidated marksheet would do but to be on a safer side take the semester wise marks also because they are minutely observing the under graduation marks. That is very important for the admission process as it seems.
hi! i have following queries regarding the process...does everyone is asked to give a summary as well? d whole duration of d gd discussion is ard 20 mins or it also includes d time given to think? the time given to write the summary?wht's the normal duration of the interview ? was anyone grilled on academics?
Everything had a separate fixed time like 2 minutes for thinking then 20 mints for discussion and then 5 minutes for summary. Time will not fluctuate in any case because they use their mobiles as alarm clocks. And they did nu asked to conclude to anyone. None of us concluded. We had to write the summary and that was compulsory for all.
