hsc 82%....as of now 7 months of work experience in a leading BPO.......i hope i will do exceedingly well in CAT........i want to get into any of the IIM's...that is my childhood dream.......but my UG score will overcast all the oppurtunities.........let me know what shud i do now to get a call from IIM's....kindly guide me dude.....

hey the iims' selection criteria change every year..so we can't predict anything right now..however u would surely get a few calls if u do cat exceedingly well, and spread ur score well across d 3 sections.. u cannot do anything abt ur acads now so thr isn't any point in worrying abt the same..think only about CAT now..

You can always rely on IIMC and IIMK.. they usually dont look into past acads..

i don't think one can be so sure..a few months back, u wud hv added A to that list too..n C also looked at acads for PGDCM shortlist..but ya, it's likely dat a couple of iims(atleast) would go only by cat score alone for shortlisting

i said that bcos C's overall procedure including the interviews gave least importance to our past acads.. infact C's director had given an open statement that past acads doesnt matter even a bit..

PGDCM has a very limited no of seats, so they had to bring in some differentiating factor... so considering acads seems to be valid here..

Yup all this is correct...in fact i have seen 7 pointers getting in and 9 pointers not getting shortlisted....so lets not worry about it!!

So hws everyone's prep going on?? which test series/coaching/source u ppl planning to join to prepare....hw many are working and where??? Lets know each other...
