Welingkars Round 2

hi guys. well a frien of mine made it to the second round told me that the first round had 18,000 people now they have 1500for the second round and they choosing 120!!!!!
no idea bout what the sec round all bout but heard its round 10th 11th.
well me had a friend who passed out this yr. he had 1yr work ex and got placed with arvind mills for 2.8pa..... also he said the avg was infact 2.5 and not what the coll proclaims it to be ie.3.5 to4pa.
and this guy is good believe me has an outstanding personality.. highest pay was round 4 to 5 pa but thats for guys with 1-2yrs work ex in places like wipro and all.... so personally i could not afford to loose the 50k for canceling my admission at kj somaiya....

which one u planning on taking if u make it to welenkars?

when i went to kj to figure out whether or not to pay up i met round 10-15 students there. they all said kj much better that welenkars and that welenkars is just big on advertising itself but otherwise not that great! but that could be their baised opinion...
one thing working for welenkar is there graet infra but after spening round 4lks getting a 2.5 sal is't a great investment is what i feel....

When i had been to NMIMS for my gd /pi ... we had a talk with a couple of FIRST YEAR students .. they said that WELLINGKAR is good for OPERATIONS RESEARCH.

And most of the colleges inflate their avg salary .. so it is a known fact i guess !!!

Got to know from one of my friends who is currently studying in Welingkars that the 2nd round is only the Interview.
However finally the selection will be on the basis of the cumulative score{written,gd/gi,pi et al}.

I got through the second round of Welingkars too. Me too have no idea about the selection procedure.

i have also been shortlisted for round 2 but i am not sure whether 2 attend the i'view or not,a bit aprehensive ab8 the i'tute,any body any idea ab8 the final i'view what's gonna happen?has anyone recieved the mail from welingkar?what elsea calls.

i've been shortlisted fr the 2nd round as well....
the 2nd round is just an interview.....1500 people in all and 120 (pgdm) + 40 (pgpebiz) will be selected......they were spposed to send us the admit cards today but they havent yet.....all the best to everyone,,,,

Just received the call letter by email.....have been called on Sunday,13th at 1.30.
The email states that there will be a Psychometric Test and a Personal Interview.
I wonder whether they will be sending the same letter by post.....else we wud have to print out the email.

hi guys,
this is dilshad. i also got selected in the second round at welingkar's. it seems many would have been called for this round as well, as the posts at pagalguy itself have a positive note about being called for 2nd round.
anyway, even i need info about the 2nd round. anybody gets to know any more details kindly post them.
