thats not feasible...
if they want to divide ppl in batch of 50k or any size... they cant have same paper for all the batches... and they'll have to cme up with different papers with eqaul level of difficulty...
and it would be appropriate to calculate percentile in diff papres... there should be some corelation...
definately gmat pattern works...
but personally i would prefer paper n pencil methoid

good to see people from sc/st starting their preparation soon
I hv read somewhere(dont remember the source may in TIME's site) that may be IIMs will postpone their decision for online cat for this yr.
It will be good it hink if they do so otherwise solving passage and DI specially graphs, chart and tables will become cumbersome and also one will not be able to check how he had performed after the cat as i dont think there will be any facilityto tk the paper back home.
ATB guys and wish me luck for my results

I am back with my old username. To introduce:
name's prashanth... 2008 bTech Graduate.
Flunked CAT twice in 07 & 08. Want to take it seriously this time. Currently working in IT, hoping to continue atleast till I get into some B-School.
So did you guys started your prep already ? If so please share your plans of cracking CAT ! Lets clear it together. I still have to start my prep. After taking 2 years of classroom coaching, wondering if I should take it again or not !
p.s: Monk, I didnt get a reply from you, I asked a question in the previous message I guess. or is it that I forgot ur answer !?
