hi all...
need some help.

just wnated to kno will my 8 months of work-ex with nokia-siemens networks in telocom domain
will play a role in final selection.initially work is intersting but it gets sort of stagnant later on...

1 more thing since being a 2008 pass out my joinings were deferred but now the companies have stared callin....do u guys think it would be gud idea to leave nsn and do the software job(MPHASIS).

Nick I would suggest you stick to Telecom domain ..the reason for that being that there are a lot many top notch consulting firms that prefer candidates with telecom experience, one of the reasons being the booming telecom sector of India .. moreover software if a very very common profile in IIMs and is not given much of a weightage except for by System Consulting firms or the General Management firms ..

Rest is your call.

Hi All Working Puys,

How are you guys doing in this last month??? I mean...that is your office work allowing to prepare more religiously??? I am working in a software firm...and somehow work pressure is increasing in this crucial month of November....so I am planning to take leaves....but the only concern is that wont I be saturated by preparing whole day!!!

Just wanted to know ur thoughts...how you guys are planning this month??

Thats true.. Work sucks when it comes in November. the whole year its cool andnow only it has to.

I have decided to keep it light for the last 30 days......
Haven't applied for leaves yet...maybe for 3-5 days in the week before CAT...

Getting around 3 hrs of study time per day ( weekdays)...
And the weekends are spent by writing mocks

I have 2.5 years of exp in IT industry..So i identify with the problems everyone stated above..

Well i heard that in B school they dont give prefference to 2+ or 3+ yrs of exp..is it so??
One of my frnd is in TAPMI and he said me so..


Also how are you guys handling preparations at this time??
