Hi guys,

As CAT 2009 is online, do you think there should be a software which can guide one through practice according to individual sections and one can experience exam situation.

Also, I am not sure whether CAT 2009 is computer adaptive as GMAT (where the level of difficulty of questions depends upon your performance till now in the examination), but I think such a software can definitely help one to be comfortable during the exam. In my opinion an exam written on computer differs highly from those on paper in terms of experience and efficiency and effectiveness. I find it difficult on a computer.
Schweser provides software question banks and simulated tests for exams like FRM (which is on paper though) and CFA!

I would like to have your opinion over this. Also tell me if there are any such softwares in the market which can be of help to me.

yea ....cat being online will defnitely be a very different experience....actually i dunno of any such software ...if u come across do lemme knw.... i think the best approach will be to first study and then try our hand at other practise tests like gre and gmat ....these are extensively available on the net..... tho the approach may be diff like u said na....its adaptive , bt it will help us be a lil more computer proficient ...!! lekin aagey kya hoga only tyme will tell ..... hopin fr the best...:....

IIMs said it may be, but there is no official announcement has been made as such!!!:1eye:

Yes, I have seen these links and one of them was printed on 1st April. Well, until its published on IIMs site, its more of a speculation. So I am closing this thread. If you have more to discuss, kindly continue on the existing thread.
