hey guys,

m getting 45 .... 12 right 3 wrong
what %ile can i expect....? :sad:
m pretty doubtful with the expected %iles provided by various instis....
I know few guys who have done exceptionally well..
many guys from the insti where i took classess are scoring 45+

Our maths faculty Gaurav Sir, who runs an insti named bakliwal tutorials in pune has got as high as 82 (21 right 2 wrong)......oh god!!!.
I talked to him and he said that he gave 65 to 70 mins for that......
Moreover, he is getting descent scores in DI and Verbal as well.

CAT 2008 - 99.68%ile Quant - 95.10, di - 96.42, va -99.49. Calls from L,I,K. missed C by 1 mark in Quant. IIM B only god knows Missed IIM A due to
GMAT 2008 - QA - 49 , VA - 40 Overall 720
I rejected MDI

how can it be none of the above? take your equation to be ax^2+bx+c=0.
now multiply both sides with k.basically the sum can be k(a+b+c). here k can take any value. depending on that sum can be anything. so if you think about it, the answer is any of the above, which is the same as cant be determined.

Only 15 pages. I guess because there is no controversy at all about answer keys and also answer keys of various institutes came out very quickly for the discussion to ensue further where people could disagree.

I disagree that the promptness of coaching instis in shelling out the solutions has any effect on the no. of pages of discussion here...go to DI or English discussion thread and you will know why I am saying that.....

Controversy is less here in this thread just coz ki its maths...which is either right or wrong...there is no place for confusion in mathematics....it has to be either correct or wrong....
And 15 pages does mean a good thing. High quality error free quant section by IIMs. Its good to see that.
