Hi Romi!

EABS involves a three tier selection process, Test scores (GMAT,CAT,XAT, & EABS entrance test any one of these), Individual's past track record, and performance in GD-PI.

Selection of a participant depends on his overall performance in all these three and not limited to his/her CAT scores.

My cat this year was disasterous. expecting somewhere around 70% which i believe is low.
My profile is
Xth - 82
XIIth - 67
B.E. - 76 from GEC, Bhopal
Have 6 months of lectureship experience
and 11 months of experience in TCS as ASE

Please let me know if i have chances of getting into EABS..
Also let me know the placement scene for the current batch.

We encourage students from different background to apply to us. Our selection criteria is based on various parameters like a) Qualitative analysis of your application form (there are 6-7 detailed questions to be answered which would be evaluated by our academic experts) b) Your background (Professional & experiential) c) Your academic performance d) Your performance in personal interview f) your written exam (CAT, XAT, GMAT) score.

Therefore, it would be difficult to judge you completly until we see you application & understand your potential to take up the course. I would encourage you should apply with open-mind and prepare hard for other selection parameters.

As far as placements are concerned, we are in process of getting our current batch placed (as we started in April 2008 ). The placements scene looks promising, we are able to place few of our students at higher salary bracket as of now. However, complete information on the placement will be available by Feb 2009. For informal inquries you can talk to our students ambassdors directly.

hello,
i saw the fees struct on the web and it is stated that 6.1 lacs + taxes+ educational tour abroad( lodging boarding, tickets etc... will be paid by students) so approx how much will be the overall cost of the programme???

The cost of overseas tour depends on the currency exchange. For the current year it is about 1.1 lakhs. The tour is arranged by students themselves under the guidance of faculty members. So the cost will be actual landing cost.

The service tax may be levied as per the govt rules, which is around 12.36% for the current financial year.

The fees is inclusive of all the course material (normally we provide books, teaching notes, cases and other material to all students).

hello mam,

CAT was hazardous this year and i m expecting around 80-85 percentile, so what should i do, should i apply directly, or should take EABS' exam to be considered for a call
i have completed B.E ( Electronics & Comm) from VTU, Bangalore and ve about 2 yrs of experience in marketing and sales,but acads are not that good., so wat should be the next step

Does your PGDM or MBA degree approved by AICTE or UGC or is it recognised? I mean if i want to do phd afterwards. your degree will be recognised or not?
