Box 1 has two options CAT and GMAT and two boxes beside each of the choices. There's nothing written how to fill the box no 1.Do we put a tick against the appropriate choice? (3)
Box 6 says Father's Mother's Name,Occupation,Address,PIN
Which address and PIN are they asking?
My dad's office address and corresponding PIN?or his residence address(same as mine)and corresponding PIN? (4)
Box 7 asks for Graduation 1st,2nd,3rd and 4th year details, with one column asking for "major subjects of study".I'm an I.T. engineer who passed out in June 2008.We are taught various subject in each semester(2 semesters make a year). What do I do?Also what do I write in the "major subjects of study" column for my Xth standard? We at West Bengal Board are taught many subjects from History to Mathematics. |
1) There is an option in the cat form where u have to shade a circle that says that besides IIMs u r also applyin to other institutes. There is nothing besides that where u have to specially mention ur applyin to TAPMI. TAPMI gets ur score automatically by entering ur CAT Number.
2) Tick the appropriate box CAT/GMAT
3) Hmmm am guessing you have already given ur residence address in another column therefore i guess they expect the office address of either parent. ( I had given my mother's office address)
4)Ok major subjects of study are those subjects in each year which
you feel were important,
write this carefully as if they have to ask u questions from ur graduation (during ur PI) they will most probably pick subjects that u have written in this column. I have a comp sc back ground and i had written C++, Php System Analysis and Design amongst others as my major subjects
For Class X and XII I had mentioned all the subjects that I appeared the exam for except my language subjects.
Also i hope ur already doin it but Def. keep a xerox of the forms u send to the insti (esp TAPMI) cos they ask many questions to you after reading the form u sent and typicaaly 4-5 months from now u hardly will remember what u wrote for diff forms.
Best of luck with CAT !
