they are different, because teh sectional cutoffs are inversely propotional, if two cutoffs go on the higher side the third will go the lower side and oa will come in between.

Maybe we can have a separate poll for VA scores :P (if possible). That might help.

But VA paper was not balanced I feel (maybe a case of sour grapes) - too much ambiguity. Generally grammar, para-jumbles etc questions are the ones which lend some stability as in clear cut answers - no ambiguity.
Today reasoning, RC's and inference questions were all confusing.

As of now, VA cutoff could be anything !

The VA cut off could be a tad lower. I guess 13-14 marks in English is a very good score!

QA was doable. So 8-10 seems perfect! DI seems ok too though I feel the cut-off would be a bit lower than predicted.

OA of around 30 will be about 60/150 and should be good enough for a 97.

I wouldn't say the paper was utterly easy, apart from a few sitters which are common in every paper. I started with QA first up and found the going tough:huh:

Anil has scored 40+, and I guess that gives a good idea of the difficulty level of the paper. One would only see the better scores on the thread. The rest will fall in once we have a poll, which is why I am not posting as yet

quant seemed easy to everybody. it seemed tough to me. ironically enough i cleared quant cut off in last simcat 11.this time near zero. can you suggest what can i do?
